During every Friday afternoon, bookshelves will be placed outside of EYFS,Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms full of new and exciting books for our pupils and their families to borrow. These books have been carefully selected by us to offer our community a wide variety of texts and authors to read and share together at home. We have aimed to appeal to all readers with a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books.

At pickup on Friday, all pupils in EYFS and Key Stage One are invited to select one book to take home and read together. The book is to be enjoyed for a whole week and then returned and exchanged the following Friday. 

Children who attend Kids Club or another after-school club will be given the opportunity to choose a book with an adult in school.

We are really excited to launch this with you and have spent a lot of time and money selecting specific books that we know the children will love. We ask that you please take great care of the books so each one can be enjoyed again and again.
