After discussing the clues and reading through the riddle, we looking at a typewriter and discussed how they were used in the past.

I then challenged the children to be creative and see how they could incorporate a typewriter into a story, or riddle, or poem, or piece of artwork. I will then share any creative works before looking at a new mystery object next month.

The children can find both the mystery object and a box to place their creative submission in outside of the SLT office.

I really hope the children enjoy sharing with you some information about the typewriter and that some of them choose to give my creative challenge a go!
